SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician – Rotating Equipment to join its operations in Doha, Qatar. This full-time, fixed-term role (4-year contract) supports critical maintenance activities across rotating machinery within oil & gas facilities. The position requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to act as a Permit Performing Authority, ensuring all work complies with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
Key duties include performing mechanical repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, preparing and isolating rotating equipment, and supporting the Mechanical Supervisor with operational insights. Candidates must demonstrate strong safety awareness, operational discipline, and the ability to promote a collaborative work culture.
Applicants must hold a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND, or equivalent) and have at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years offshore. Strong English communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
