SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC is hiring an experienced Crane Operator to support offshore lifting, safety operations, and critical emergency response tasks in Doha. 🚢🔧
Job Responsibilities
• Safely operate and maintain various crane types within SWL limits. 🏗️
• Perform vessel, deck, and helicopter lifting operations per procedures. 🚁
• Act as a key member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team. 🛟
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning. ⚠️
• Act as Permit Performing Authority for work under PTW system. 📄
• Conduct daily routine and safety checks on cranes and equipment. 🔍
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain inspection records. 🧰
• Manage safe loading/offloading of cargo on supply vessels. 🚛
• Oversee safe personnel transfer operations. 👷♂️
• Provide visible leadership to promote safety culture and NOC values. 🛡️
• Support cost-conscious operations and incident-free performance. ✔️
• Comply with operating guidelines for safety, plant integrity, and process control. 🔒
Experience
• Minimum 10 years experience, including 5 years offshore crane operation in oil & gas or petrochemical plants. 📅

Qualifications
• Higher Secondary Education + 3-year Technical Diploma (HNC/HND or equivalent). 🎓
• Valid Crane Driver Certificate (A Certificate). 🪪
• Experience with Seatrax pedestal cranes, Liebherr, Hydro Lift, or similar. 🏗️
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written. 🗣️
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills; proficient in MS Office. 💻
