Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking motivated and dependable Airport Ramp Agents to support Delta operations at Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Portland, Maine. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and working hands-on around aircraft while delivering safe and efficient ground services.
Job Responsibilities
• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft safely. ✈️
• Protect customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage, loss, or theft. 🧳
• Lift, sort, and transfer baggage, freight, and company materials to and from aircraft. 📦
• Operate pushback equipment while maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers. 🔄
• Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage between aircraft and terminals. 🚚
• Operate motorized ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, bag carts, and deicers. ⚙️
• Complete required paperwork and enter information into company systems accurately. 📝
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support ramp operations. ✔️
Experience & Education
• No prior ramp experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred. 📅
• High School diploma or GED required. 🎓
Salary
• $20 per hour. 💰

Ramp Agent Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old. 🎂
• Valid in-state Driver’s License. 🪪
• Must be a local (in-state) resident. 🏠
• Authorization to work in the United States. 🇺🇸
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check. ✔️
• Ability to lift and move items up to 70 pounds regularly. 💪
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined or elevated spaces. 🧗
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security identification. 🔐
• Strong verbal and radio communication skills. 📻
